The research demonstrates that, despite the geographical and communication challenges of the region, technological convergence can contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the well-being of the population. The work explores the relationship between globalization, sustainable development, and technological advancement, highlighting the need for policies and strategies that integrate these areas for regional development.Item Protocolo Híbrido para Autenticação Quântica de Mensagens Clássicas com uso do Gerador de Sequências Pseudo-aleatórias Blum-Blum-Shub(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) AZEVEDO, Manoel Socorro Santos; ASSIS, Francisco Marcos de; FREIRE, Raimundo Carlos S.In the present time, when the search for computational and unconditional security is a reality, studies have been done to solve problems related to messages changes and authentication, in a safe way. Cryptographic systems are studied, valued and tested for real safety, allowing the cryptoanalysis of such systems. The quantum cryptography appears as a powerful allied to provide unconditional security. The quantum authentication of classic messages is a reality that can be put in practice in a relatively short time. A hybrid protocol authentication of classic messages is considered, using the BBS (Blum-Blum-Shub), pseudo-random sequence generator. The protocol´s security against individual attacks is formally evaluated.Item Aplicação de Filtro Harmônico em Sistemas Elétricos de Baixa Tensão Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) CIRINO, Weverson dos Santos; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThis work presents a solution to minimize harmonic distortion in low-voltage electrical systems through the application of passive harmonic filters and the use of fuzzy logic. The proposed algorithm detects and calculates the frequencies at which the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value is elevated, comparing it with a normative index. Once the need for filter application is identified, the algorithm designs the passive filter, chosen for its ease of installation and low cost. The algorithm also recalculates the THD after filter application, using fuzzy logic to classify the final result.Item Utilização de Dutos Descartados do Gasoduto Coari-Manaus para Confecção de Ponte Provisória sobre o Igarapé do Cedro Segundo a Norma API 5L X70(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SANTOS, Doriel Andrade dos; FARIA, Marlene de AraújoThis paper aims to present an alternative construction of an engineering project, with the use of API 5L X70 pipeline discarded from the Coari-Manaus pipeline, in the process of building a temporary bridge over the Cedro creek in the Amazon rainforest. The goal is to enable the transport of workers and materials for the industrial production of the Compression Station - ECOMP in Juaruna. The ANSYS 8.0 program was used to analyze the stresses and deformations of structural elements subjected to loads. Occupational noise that affects employees in their day-to-day tasks can be prevented through the involvement of employers and employees in a hearing conservation program. This study proposes the applicability of fuzzy logic to evaluate the quality of noise in industrial jobs, considering variables such as noise level and number of hours worked. Thus, using fuzzy logic modeling, measured noise levels were assessed, generating results that classify the work environment as satisfactory or high-risk, as well as providing guidance on whether or not to use safety equipment in hazardous environments. Prevention seeks to minimize or even eliminate hearing and non-hearing health problems, which are very common nowadays.Item Sistema para Tomada de Decisão na Programação de Produção de Celular e Modem, Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThe objective of this paper is to present a model using fuzzy logic, which seeks to assist the process of making decision as to which product should have priority in scheduling of the manufacturing process where there are two classes of products (WCDMA Modem and Mobile Phone). With this, it aims to identify particularities and characteristics of the productive processes, creating a better sequencing of production, whose master plan of production will be able to meet demand according to market fluctuations. The main purpose of the proposed system is to assist professionals in industrial planning to determine which products should be prioritized in the production line based on manufacturing characteristics, such as delivery time, cycle time, production process, and margin contribution, creating a production program best suited to the reality of the organization, in other words, optimizing existing resources and increasing profits.Item Metodologia para Diagnosticar a Qualidade de Energia Elétrica Referente à Distorção Harmônica em Sistema Trifásico de Baixa Tensão Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) GONÇALVES, Benevaldo Pereira; COSTA JÚNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThis work emphasizes the importance of monitoring and diagnosing the quality of electric power from the viewpoint of harmonic distortion present in low-voltage three-phase electrical installations. The proposed methodology analyzes and diagnoses the level of harmonic disturbances by evaluating the total harmonic distortion (THD) indicator, supported by an expert system based on a Fuzzy inference system. The bridge facilitates material and worker transportation for the construction of the Compression Station – ECOMP in Juaruna. The ANSYS 8.0 program was used to analyze the structural behavior of a bridge element, applying numerical methods to evaluate stress and deformation in structural components. These companies produce effluents coming from units of paint by blasting and spraying. This waste requires special treatment for their separation, storage and disposal. This paper studies an alternative way to use this waste in the red ceramic industry, evaluating parameters that influence important properties of artifacts made of red clay as density, porosity and bending strength, measured for mixtures of 2%, 5% and 10% by weight of waste, for the clay used, the results show that there is influence of this material in solid state reactions and can improve the properties cited.Item Simulação Computacional no Auxílio à Tomada de Decisão nos Processos Industriais: Utilizando a Ferramenta Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 9.0(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SANTOS, Eliton Smith dos; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThe research presents the use of computer simulation as a tool to aid decision-making in industrial processes, using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 9.0 software. The study was applied in a production line of 21" TV sets at the Manaus Industrial Hub, aiming to evaluate the line's performance and propose improvements. The simulation allowed the identification of bottlenecks, the balancing of the production line, and the optimization of resource usage, resulting in a 6.6% increase in daily production. The study aimed to estimate the generation and map the main sites of irregular disposal of construction and demolition waste (CDW) in Itacoatiara. The research was conducted in two stages: collecting information from public agencies and agents involved in the generation and collection of waste, and photographic mapping of irregular disposal sites. Irregular disposal of waste was found at various points in the city, promoting environmental degradation. The implementation of construction waste management programs is essential to reduce the volume of these materials in the municipality.Item Gerenciamento do Suprimento de Óleo Combustível para Usina Térmica no Amazonas Através de Sistemas Inteligentes(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SILVA NETO, Almiro Gomes da; FARIA, Marlene Araujo deThe objective of this work is to develop a computational tool for decision support in the supply of fuel oil for thermal power plant, examining the main variables of thermal generation using fuel oil and the entire logistical process. The basis for the study is on the operating principle of a thermal plant, the logistics of fuel and its peculiarities. The current supply management and all procedures involved in this process give support for the proposed innovation. The case study consists of a simulation system for managing oil supply through a mathematical simulator to confirm the optimal inventory solution through fuzzy logic. This paper aims to guide institutions and companies that want to adopt the use of computer technologies tools as SPC, presented through a simplified and affordable, the use of an algorithm. Statistical techniques can be excellent to show the degree of security required by a particular process, and here we show which tools to use in the SPC, to study and validate retrospectively the performance of understanding the production stage, we discuss the use of an algorithm for this application. However, there is resistance to adopting new methodologies. The use of computational tools in SPC has become an essential trend. This dissertation aims to guide companies and institutions in adopting such tools, presenting an algorithm to optimize SPC application. Statistical techniques are employed to validate process security, demonstrating that SPC is a management tool that enables measuring product and service quality, comparing them to desired standards, and implementing corrective actions. The proposed approach is illustrated through a case study in the two-wheel industrial sector.
