The research demonstrates that, despite the geographical and communication challenges of the region, technological convergence can contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the well-being of the population. The work explores the relationship between globalization, sustainable development, and technological advancement, highlighting the need for policies and strategies that integrate these areas for regional development.Item Protocolo Híbrido para Autenticação Quântica de Mensagens Clássicas com uso do Gerador de Sequências Pseudo-aleatórias Blum-Blum-Shub(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) AZEVEDO, Manoel Socorro Santos; ASSIS, Francisco Marcos de; FREIRE, Raimundo Carlos S.In the present time, when the search for computational and unconditional security is a reality, studies have been done to solve problems related to messages changes and authentication, in a safe way. Cryptographic systems are studied, valued and tested for real safety, allowing the cryptoanalysis of such systems. The quantum cryptography appears as a powerful allied to provide unconditional security. The quantum authentication of classic messages is a reality that can be put in practice in a relatively short time. A hybrid protocol authentication of classic messages is considered, using the BBS (Blum-Blum-Shub), pseudo-random sequence generator. The protocol´s security against individual attacks is formally evaluated.Item UTILIZAÇÃO DE DUTOS DESCARTADOS DO GASODUTO COARI-MANAUS PARA CONFECÇÃO DE PONTE PROVISÓRIA SOBRE O IGARAPÉ DO CEDRO SEGUNDO A NORMA API 5L X70(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SANTOS, Doriel Andrade dos; FARIA, Marlene de AraújoThis study aims to present an alternative construction method using discarded API 5L X70 pipelines from the Coari-Manaus gas pipeline for the construction of a temporary bridge over the Cedro stream in the Amazon rainforest. The bridge facilitates material and worker transportation for the construction of the Compression Station – ECOMP in Juaruna. The ANSYS 8.0 program was used to analyze the structural behavior of a bridge element, applying numerical methods to evaluate stress and deformation in structural components. Additionally, an environmental mitigation proposal is presented to reduce the impact of equipment crossing the Cedro stream, as well as the logistical challenges faced by companies operating in the Amazon region.Item Sistema para Tomada de Decisão na Programação de Produção de Celular e Modem, Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThe objective of this paper is to present a model using fuzzy logic, which seeks to assist the process of making decision as to which product should have priority in scheduling of the manufacturing process where there are two classes of products (WCDMA Modem and Mobile Phone). With this, it aims to identify particularities and characteristics of the productive processes, creating a better sequencing of production, whose master plan of production will be able to meet demand according to market fluctuations. Occupational noise that affects employees in their day-to-day tasks can be prevented through the involvement of employers and employees in a hearing conservation program. This study proposes the applicability of fuzzy logic to evaluate the quality of noise in industrial jobs, considering variables such as noise level and number of hours worked. Thus, using fuzzy logic modeling, measured noise levels were assessed, generating results that classify the work environment as satisfactory or high-risk, as well as providing guidance on whether or not to use safety equipment in hazardous environments. Simulation methods for evaluating the mechanical behavior of products subjected to static and dynamic loads are extremely necessary to reduce manufacturing costs. The goal is to enable the transport of workers and materials for the industrial production of the Compression Station - ECOMP in Juaruna. The ANSYS 8.0 program was used to analyze the stresses and deformations of structural elements subjected to loads. The study also presents a proposal for the mitigation of environmental impacts and addresses the logistical challenges faced in the Amazon region.Item Aplicação de Filtro Harmônico em Sistemas Elétricos de Baixa Tensão Utilizando Lógica Fuzzy(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) CIRINO, Weverson dos Santos; COSTA JUNIOR, Carlos Tavares daThis work presents a solution to minimize harmonic distortion in low-voltage electrical systems through the application of passive harmonic filters and the use of fuzzy logic. The proposed algorithm detects and calculates the frequencies at which the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value is elevated, comparing it with a normative index. Once the need for filter application is identified, the algorithm designs the passive filter, chosen for its ease of installation and low cost. The algorithm also recalculates the THD after filter application, using fuzzy logic to classify the final result.Item INFLUÊNCIA DE INCRUSTAÇÕES NA EFICIÊNCIA DE TROCADORES DE CALOR: O CASO DA PERDA DE PRODUTIVIDADE EM HIDRELÉTRICAS(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) LOPES, Antonio Dimael de Almeida; MACÊDO, Emanuel NegrãoHeat exchangers are widely used in industrial processes and various applications. In hydroelectric power plants, they are essential for cooling key components, employing open cooling systems that draw water directly from reservoirs. However, this method can lead to fouling buildup, reducing equipment efficiency and impacting productivity. This study evaluated whether the application of an automated mechanical cleaning process could minimize or eliminate efficiency loss in heat exchangers used in hydro generator cooling systems. The research showed that periodic removal of fouling significantly improves thermal efficiency and reduces unplanned shutdowns in hydroelectric plants.Item SIMULAÇÃO COMPUTACIONAL NO AUXÍLIO À TOMADA DE DECISÃO NOS PROCESSOS INDUSTRIAIS: UTILIZANDO A FERRAMENTA TECNOMATIX PLANT SIMULATION 9.0(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SANTOS, Eliton Smith dos; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoCurrently, there are numerous automated production processes that are becoming increasingly complex due to the demands of the modern world. These processes require increasingly powerful engineering tools for efficient modeling and analysis. In this context, the computational tool Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 9.0 emerges as a means of optimizing industrial production. This study presents the application of this tool in modeling and simulating a production line, highlighting its relevance for production management by reducing costs and maximizing profits. The basis for the study is on the operating principle of a thermal plant, the logistics of fuel and its peculiarities. The current supply management and all procedures involved in this process give support for the proposed innovation. The case study consists of a simulation system for managing oil supply through a mathematical simulator to confirm the optimal inventory solution through fuzzy logic. However, there is resistance to adopting new methodologies. The use of computational tools in SPC has become an essential trend. This dissertation aims to guide companies and institutions in adopting such tools, presenting an algorithm to optimize SPC application. Statistical techniques are employed to validate process security, demonstrating that SPC is a management tool that enables measuring product and service quality, comparing them to desired standards, and implementing corrective actions. This work evaluates the influence of fouling on the efficiency of heat exchangers, focusing on productivity losses in hydroelectric plants. The study proposes the application of an automated mechanical cleaning process to eliminate or minimize the loss of efficiency in heat exchangers in the cooling system of hydraulic generators. The research was conducted at the Balbina Hydroelectric Plant, where the impacts of fouling on thermal efficiency and plant productivity were analyzed. The results indicate that automated cleaning significantly reduces maintenance shutdowns, increasing system efficiency and productivity.Item O Estudo da Influência do Ciclo de Partidas e Paradas no Estator de Geradores Síncronos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) SANTOS, Renato Lélio da Silva; OLIVEIRA, Roberto Célio Limão deSynchronous generators are subjected to different stop situations, such as forced shutdowns, shutdowns due to external conditions, and scheduled shutdowns for corrective and preventive maintenance. The temperature variations to which the synchronous generator is subjected, especially in the stator, affect its insulation, which does not keep up with these constant changes due to different expansion coefficients. This work seeks to identify a trend in the progression of aging of the insulation of stator windings in machines that undergo repetitive starts and stops and remain with their reserve power off for many hours. The study was applied to the five synchronous generators of the Balbina hydroelectric plant, belonging to the Eletrobrás group, which presents this problem. This study confirms the partial discharge analysis tests of synchronous generators carried out periodically to diagnose problems in their stator windings that present different magnitudes and confirms the hypothesis that machines that present higher magnitudes of partial discharges in their stators are those that undergo more amounts of starts and stops and hours with reserve power off.Item Análise Ergonômica no Posto de Trabalho numa Linha de Produção Utilizando Método NIOSH – Um Estudo de Caso no Pólo Industrial de Manaus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) AGAHNEJAD, Payman; OLIVEIRA, Roberto Célio Limão deThis study aims to conduct an ergonomic analysis in a production line, focusing on work biomechanics and manual handling of loads. Through research, analysis of reports, and procedures, proposals were formulated to reduce the impact of work on employee health. The method used consisted of collecting real production data, analyzing similar cases, and mathematical calculations. The conclusions indicate the need to implement actions aimed at improving the work area with appropriate equipment, benefiting both the employee and the employer.
