However, proper implementation requires considerations on regulations, data protection and ethics, in addition to overcoming technical and financial challenges. Given this issue, the present study aims to implement an intelligent system for identifying and correcting failures in the board assembly process, based on Business Intelligence (BI), aligned with Industry 4.0 practices. The methodology included Process Mapping and Requirements Analysis for the Implementation of the Integrated System. The system enabled faster and more effective communication with other production process systems, ensuring accurate information for performance optimization and data security. With the aging of the population worldwide, the implementation of technological solutions that can assist in the care of the elderly is increasingly necessary. AI is a promising technology for identifying behavior patterns and accurately detecting falls, and can send alerts to caregivers or family members in real time. In addition, the integration of the system with other home automation devices can further improve the safety and comfort of the elderly. In this context, the use of color labeling systems stands out as an efficient solution for separating products in production lines, especially when it comes to products with subtle differences. This article presents the development of a production line conveyor automation system using microcontrollers for separation using a color label system, highlighting its advantages and benefits for the industry. The developed system demonstrated high accuracy in detecting and separating products by color, resulting in reduced errors and guaranteed quality of the final product. Furthermore, automation provided increased efficiency and productivity, decreased cycle time, optimized workflow and reduced human errors. Technologies such as frameworks, object-oriented programming languages and IDEs were used, working based on use case diagrams, entity and relationship, mapping and data dictionary, in addition to the creation of tables for the database. The development process included the participation of a nurse working in the sector, who provided essential information for the survey and validation of requirements, as well as for the validation of user interaction screens and system functionalities. This study compares various deterministic mathematical optimization methods, including Lambda Iteration, Newton’s Method, and Quadratic Programming, to solve the ELD problem. The analysis considers both the traditional methodology and a proposed approach that includes turning off less efficient generators to reduce costs and improve system efficiency.
