The objective is to evaluate the results obtained by deaf students in learning about the environment through active methodologies. The study highlights the importance of students' active participation in the learning process, encouraging self-regulation and meaningful knowledge construction. Methods that stimulate student-teacher and student-student interaction were used, such as recycling, reuse, and reduction of solid waste, as well as field research in a state school in Manaus.
