Gurgel do Carmo & Cia Ltda. for environmental offenses in the State of Amazonas, under Law No. 9,605/1998. The study discusses the possibility of penalizing legal entities, examining the Legal Fiction Theory and the Reality Theory, and highlights the criminal conduct of the company in light of environmental damage, supported by doctrine and jurisprudence.
