Estudo de la aplicación de aceite vegetal de Andiroba (Carapa guianensis) como un aislante eléctrico. In: VII International Scientific Conference of Mechanical Engineering, 2012, Villa Clara. Anais... Villa Clara: [s.n.], 2012. p. 1-9.https://rigalileo.itegam.org.br/handle/123456789/1089The study assessed the technical feasibility of andiroba oil (Carapa guianensis) as a dielectric insulating fluid (OVI) in transformers, comparing its physicochemical and electrical properties with commercial vegetable oils (Biotemp®, Envirotemp® FR3™) and mineral oil (OMI-1). Results showed that andiroba oil met density and viscosity limits per ABNT NBR 15422 standards and exhibited no corrosiveness. However, neutralization treatments were required to reduce acidity and water content (from 1306 ppm to <200 ppm). Dielectric strength (10.5 kV) and loss factor (12.5%) were below standards, indicating the need for adsorptive processes to enable industrial application.pdf.Óleo vegetal isolanteandirobatransformadores elétricosbiodegradávelrigidez dielétricaEstudo de la aplicación de aceite vegetal de Andiroba (Carapa guianensis) como un aislante eléctricoArtigoEngenharia Elétrica
