This photographic industry presents environmental impacts in its production, maintenance and administrative support processes, including operations that only benefit already emulsified photographic papers, transforming them into sizes and formats suitable for printing laboratories. This dissertation investigates Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in scope 1 (direct emissions) and scope 2 (indirect emissions), using the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program (PBGHGP) protocol. This protocol made it possible to inventory data and estimate total GHG emissions in a PIM photo paper processing industry, considering the operations under its operational control. The combination of methodological strategies aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis of the environmental issue addressed. The results identified that the main source of GHG emissions comes from the refrigeration system, specifically through the consumption of R410A refrigerant gas.
