The PIM is a major industrial region and presents significant challenges regarding waste management. In this context, the Zero Landfill Program emerges as a sustainable approach that seeks to reduce the sending of waste to landfills, encourage the reuse of materials, and promote recycling, creating an economic cycle and inspiring other companies to adopt similar practices. Sustainable industrial waste management practices were developed based on the principles of the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, and recycle).
