Industrial noise control strategies should aim to reduce existing noise to acceptable levels in the work environment. Noise is currently a major cause of occupational health and safety problems in industries around the world. This research presents the technical activities developed in a metallurgical company in the stamping sector, where a diagnosis was made and intervention proposals were made for the machinery and for the environment.
