Dissertação do Programa de Mestrado em Engenharia, Gestão De Processos, Sistemas E Ambiental (PPG.EGPSA), Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia (ITEGAM), Manaus, 2023.https://rigalileo.itegam.org.br/handle/123456789/87In Brazil, particularly in the State of Amazonas, in the city of Manaus, large companies play an important role as agents of development in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, with effective participation in income distribution, labor absorption and significant participation in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), among others. Despite this importance, medium and large companies cannot enjoy or use the new forms of administrative management and technological advances designed and proposed by universities, research centers, as well as government projects. Considering the growing market for electric motors and the degree of competition detected in the capitalist market, one can observe today, in terms of Production Engineering, a trend towards the search for continuous improvements in production processes, and in the company in general. Often a simple layout change, brings together a combination of principles, methods and techniques around the idea of continuous improvement can be better understood, systematized and developed from the notion of process improvement. The objective of this paper is to analyze the manual insertion process in the factory and propose the use of WCM methodology to eliminate gaps and process defects, identified in the spreadsheet-based process in DC in the electric motor assembler company. As financial benefits for the company and technological and professional development opportunity, for the company that had a study in one of the main processes in the electric motor assembly industry. As the WCM methodology is composed of ten technical pillars, for reasons of time, this study includes an application of two of the ten pillars of the program. This study is characterized as exploratory descriptive, and the research conducted was qualitative in nature, and with application to a rolled insert station, the main method used to obtain data was an unstructured interview, targeting employees such as operators and process technicians in the production sector, and the consolidated data was able to identify gaps and losses in the process, increasing the cost of production, as well as leaving the problem with more manpower than budgeted, after cataloging all relevant data and assessing strengths and identifying opportunities for improvement. In order to reduce the desaturation loss in the winder and manual insertion work centers of Factory I, we propose to unify the work centers of the winder, manual insertion and preparation of insulating materials.pdf.NVAAWOWCMVAAOtimização do processo de inserção manual de bobinadeira de motores elétricos utilizam tecnicas do lean manufacturingDissertação3.08.00.00-5 Engenharia de Produção
