Initially, graphite was subjected to thermal expansion at 900 °C for 15 minutes, followed by ball milling in the presence of sulfuric acid for 12, 24, and 48 hours. The samples were oxidized using the Hummers method and chemically reduced with ascorbic acid. Characterization was carried out using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results demonstrated that the combination of treatments significantly influences the structural and morphological properties of rGO, enhancing exfoliation efficiency and improving the quality of the final material. This hybrid approach is a promising strategy for scalable production of graphene-based materials.Óxido de Grafeno Reduzido (rGO)Método de HummersExpansão TérmicaEsfoliação MecânicaCaracterização EstruturalInfluence of Pre-Mechanical Exfoliation on the Synthesis of Reduced Graphene Oxide via the Hummers MethodArtigoEngenharia da produção
