This work aimed to develop a production process for traceable mechanical devices to transport motherboards on SMT production lines within a company of the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The development included the creation of a machining machine, a device manufacturing process, tracking hardware, the use of RFID technology, a traceability system, and the integration of this process into the factory's manufacturing control system. The integration of these steps resulted in the reuse of an obsolete router machine, avoiding the acquisition of a new machine and generating a cost reduction of 95 thousand reais, in addition to an average annual reduction of 49.5% compared to devices produced by third parties.
