After the creation of the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS), under Law 12.305/10, the federal government set deadlines for municipalities to adapt to the new reality. This work analyzed the economic and technical feasibility of an inter-municipal solid waste consortium between the municipalities of Benjamin Constant and Atalaia do Norte, located in Amazonas. Bibliographic studies, "in loco" data collection, and geoprocessing tools were used.
