Barreiras à implementação da Indústria 4.0 no Polo Industrial de Manaus. Revista de Gestão e Secretariado (GeSec), São Paulo, v. 15, n. 11, p. 01-23, 2024. DOI: http://doi.org/10.7769/gesec.v15i11.4320.https://rigalileo.itegam.org.br/handle/123456789/284The era of Industry 4.0 is transforming economic sectors through the integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT, big data, advanced robotics, and additive manufacturing, increasing efficiency and innovation. The Manaus Trade Zone, one of the main industrial centers in Latin America, faces challenges in adopting these technologies, particularly in the home appliance industry, which hinders its economic development and competitiveness. Identifying the barriers to the adoption of Industry 4.0 is crucial for proposing solutions that safeguard jobs and promote industrial progress. The research employed a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Initially, barriers were identified based on global literature, which were subsequently validated by industry experts. Then, the application of the DEMATEL methodology revealed significant barriers to the adoption of Industry 4.0 in the Manaus Trade Zone, such as the lack of technological infrastructure, the need for workforce training, cybersecurity concerns, and high implementation costs. Additionally, factors like resistance to change and interoperability act as obstacles that impede technological advancement. The study provides a useful framework for managers, helping them understand these barriers and the relationships between them.pdf.Indústria 4.0BarreirasDEMATELSetor Industrial de EletrodomésticosPolo Industrial de Manaus (PIM)Barreiras à implementação da Indústria 4.0 no Polo Industrial de ManausArtigoEngenharia de Produção
