The study presents a theoretical and experimental analysis of strengthened beams, highlighting the factors that influence the behavior and resistance of these structures. Thirty-seven tests of beams strengthened with CFRP were analyzed, and the results indicate that the flexural reinforcement ratio before and after strengthening is a determining factor for the performance of the beams. The study proposes a complete methodology for analyzing the behavior of the beams, aiming to maximize the efficiency of the strengthening.Concreto ArmadoFibra de CarbonoReforço EstruturalResistência à FlexãoVigasResistência à Flexão de Vigas de Concreto Armado Reforçadas com Fibra de Carbonopdf.Engenharias; Engenharia Civil; Estruturas e Materiais de Construção
