The study addresses the urban and environmental impacts of these projects, highlighting the need for tools such as the Neighborhood Impact Study (EIV) to mitigate social, economic, and environmental conflicts. The municipal management of Manaus uses the Terms of Reference to reconcile usage guidelines, maintenance, and enhancement of environmental heritage, adaptation to the natural or built landscape, and urban infrastructure.
