    A Influência do Tipo de Substrato na Resistência de Aderência à Tração em Revestimentos de Argamassa na Região Oeste do Pará

    Investments in urban, road, and airport infrastructure have contributed to the growth of the construction industry across Brazil, including the western region of Pará. This study aims to verify the tensile bond strength behavior in three types of substrates: concrete, ceramic bricks, and concrete blocks, with the application of two types of roughcast (conventional and rolled) and the addition of hydrated lime in the mortar coating. Panels measuring 1.20x1.20 m were made for each substrate, and tensile bond strength tests were conducted at 28 days. The results showed that 10 out of the 12 analyzed combinations met the minimum bond strength limit for external walls. The application of rolled roughcast promoted resistances above the standard limit, and the addition of hydrated lime increased bond strength in 100% of the combinations, making it a technically viable option to reduce pathologies such as detachment.

    The study compared the production of concrete in batching plants and on-site in Santarém-PA, identifying the most used methods and the factors affecting material quality. Technical visits and interviews with professionals highlighted the prevalence of mixer use, lack of technological control, and poor aggregate quality as main challenges.
