    The acoustic question in the industrial environment is a relevant issue because 20% of the world population is directly and daily exposed to noise. Industrial noise control strategies should aim to reduce existing noise to acceptable levels in the work environment. Noise is currently a major cause of occupational health and safety problems in industries around the world. This research presents the technical activities developed in a metallurgical company in the stamping sector, where a diagnosis was made and intervention proposals were made for the machinery and for the environment. From this study, proposals for intervention in the environment of the stamping sector of a Metallurgical Industry in the city of Manaus were generated.
