Item Concreto Produzido com Agregado Graúdo Basáltico da Região de Santarém-PA: Caracterização Geotécnica e Aplicação em Obras Rodoviárias(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) DINIZ, Sandro Jeronimo de Almeida; NETO, Bernardo Borges Pompeu; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThe study evaluates the use of coarse basaltic aggregate from Serra do Inajá, in the Santarém-PA region, for structural concrete in road construction. Axial compression, granulometry, and Los Angeles abrasion tests were conducted, showing that the material has an average strength of 136.2 MPa in intact rock and meets normative requirements for concrete above 20 MPa. The results indicate technical feasibility, with potential for cost reduction and local resource utilization.Item Impactos Econômicos do “Cidade Jardim” em Santarém - PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) PIMENTEL, Silvia Raquel de Oliveira; NETO, Bernardo Borges PompeuThis study focuses on analyzing the economic impacts in the municipality of Santarem with the implementation of the “Garden City”, in relation to the cooling of the housing deficit increasing in recent years, generating jobs, income and promoting the local economy and regional. Besides creating jobs, also analyzes the impacts determinants of demands from the sale of 5,225 lots of the project and its structuring with the construction of new housing and social demands arising from these as: sewage treatment plant, water supply, construction of schools, hospitals and health centers, investment in infrastructure (access, paving of roads, electricity, communication and others). The methodology includes study on the project location and its strategic position, company history, and their respective markets and the methods used. Brings as a result an evaluation of the real estate sector of the city, the aggregate numbers of employment generation, income and public investment that must be made from the social demands caused by the implementation of the project.
