    The use of residues in clay-based composites has been used for the production of ceramic materials. It has recently been extensively researched for presenting significant results in its physical and chemical properties. The purpose of this work is to analyze the efficiency of the incorporation of 10%, 20%, 30% by weight of blast furnace slag originating from steel mills in the State of Pará, in the clayey clay composed of strong clay and weak clay yielded by Menegalli ceramics, located in the municipality of São Miguel do Guamá, to produce sealing blocks.
