Os Impactos Econômicos e Sociais da Repavimentação da BR-319 e Seus Respectivos Desdobramentos Ambientais

Abstract

BR-319 is a highway of great importance for the state of Amazonas and other northern regions, directly influencing social, economic, and environmental aspects. The repaving of this road can bring significant benefits, such as job creation and facilitating regional production flow, reducing freight and passenger transport costs. However, the environmental impacts of reconstruction are concerning, including deforestation, natural habitat degradation, chemical pollution, human encroachment, and increased violence. This study analyzes these impacts and suggests mitigation measures to balance economic development and environmental conservation.
