| dc.description.abstract | In the Manaus Free Trade Zone, the photographic paper processing industry is classified as a chemical industry and presents environmental aspects in various stages of the production process. This study aims to analyze greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in a photographic paper finishing industry in Manaus, using the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program (PBGHGP) to inventory and estimate total emissions in Scopes 1 and 2. The results indicate that the main source of GHG emissions in the analyzed industry comes from the consumption of refrigerant gas R410A in cooling systems. The study concludes that, with the implementation of an appropriate environmental management system, it is possible to control and mitigate such emissions, reducing the industry's environmental impact. | |
| dc.description.resumo | Na Zona Franca de Manaus, a indústria de processamento de papel fotográfico é classificada como uma indústria química e apresenta impactos ambientais em diversas etapas do processo produtivo. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar as emissões de gases de efeito estufa (GEE) na indústria de acabamento de papel fotográfico em Manaus, utilizando o Protocolo Brasileiro GHG (PBGHGP) para inventariar e estimar as emissões totais nos Escopos 1 e 2. Os resultados indicam que a principal fonte de emissão de GEE na indústria analisada é o consumo do gás refrigerante R410A nos sistemas de resfriamento. A pesquisa conclui que, com a implementação de um sistema de gestão ambiental adequado, é possível controlar e mitigar tais emissões, reduzindo o impacto ambiental da indústria. | |
