    Despacho Econômico e Ambiental de Energia Elétrica Usando Técnicas Computacionais em LabVIEW: Uma Abordagem Multiobjetivo para Sistemas de Geração Termelétrica

    This paper proposes an analytical strategy based on mathematical models to address the load dispatch problem in thermal power plants, simultaneously considering economic and environmental criteria. Using the computational tool LabVIEW, the study develops a multi-objective model that minimizes operational costs and pollutant emissions (SO₂ and NOₓ) while meeting energy demand. The results demonstrate the approach's effectiveness across different load scenarios, highlighting solutions that balance energy efficiency and environmental impact reduction.

    Implantação do Sistema de Monitoração de Vibração em Máquinas Elétricas em Alta Tensão

    This paper presents the development and implementation of an online monitoring system for hydraulic generators operated by Eletrobrás-Amazonas Energia S/A. The system, called SIMME, was designed to evaluate critical physical parameters in 250 MVA rotating machines, using sensors, signal conditioners, and fuzzy logic-based software. The client/server architecture enables data transmission via intranet, providing continuous information to operation and maintenance teams. The system proved to be reliable, low-cost, and effective in fault detection, contributing to predictive maintenance and reducing unplanned downtime.

    Otimização Multicritério Para Despacho Econômico e Ambiental de Usinas Térmicas Utilizando Enxame de Partículas

    One of the main objectives in the generation of electricity in thermal systems is to minimize fuel consumption through optimal allocation of power generation for each generating unit via the economic dispatch, maintaining pollutant emissions within the limits of environmental licensing, whose integrated solution is subject to a set of equality and inequality constraints. Due to environmental concerns that were developed from the emissions produced by power plants that use fossil fuels, the economic dispatch that minimizes only the total fuel cost can no longer be considered a suitable option of dispatch. This paper therefore proposes a strategy based on mathematical models to solve the problem of load dispatch considering the economic problems and the emission of pollutants, whose premises are combined into an objective function and several electrical and emission constraints using the LabView software environment. The results achieved with the application of the procedures proposed here to a thermal power plant in the city of Manaus-AM appear quite positive towards providing dispatch solutions that proved sustainable with regard to the economic and environmental aspects considered.
