In Brazil, the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) regulates and inspects measuring instruments, requiring authorization holders for repair and maintenance to meet stringent technical requirements. This study applied fuzzy inference systems for the preliminary analysis of these requirements, developing a model capable of efficiently and accurately identifying and evaluating compliance. The method involved surveying technical requirements, defining linguistic variables, developing and testing the fuzzy system, and analyzing results. The system was implemented and tested in a controlled environment with different datasets, demonstrating high accuracy in identifying compliance in over 90% of cases. Additionally, it provided valuable insights into authorization holders' strengths and weaknesses, highlighting areas that may need improvement for continued compliance. The application of fuzzy inference systems proved to be a promising approach to improving compliance assessment processes, ensuring the quality and accuracy of measurements in Brazil, and renewing the perception of analyses in ordinances already implemented by INMETRO. This approach can also significantly contribute to decision-making by regulatory agencies, such as IPEM/AM, providing an additional tool to ensure compliance and reliability of measuring instruments used nationwide.Item Estimativa da Incerteza de Medição nos Ensaios de Resistência Elétrica de Fios e Cabos Elétricos para Tensões Nominais de até 450/750V(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024-10-22) CAVALCANTE, Henrique Augusto Mota; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; BRITO JUNIOR, Jorge de AlmeidaThe electrical wire and cable market faces challenges with low-quality products, including electrical resistances above normative limits, which can lead to risks such as fires. This study addresses the estimation of measurement uncertainty in electrical resistance tests for wires and cables with nominal voltages up to 450/750V, applying the "top-down" methodology and using the Ishikawa Diagram to identify uncertainty sources. Measurements were conducted on collected samples using calibrated equipment. The fuzzy inference system was programmed in Python, using linguistic variables and fuzzy rules to assess performance parameters like accuracy, response time, and error margins. The primary objective was to decrease the incidence of these failures, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs. The methodology involved analyzing historical data, identifying interference sources, and installing electromagnetic interference filters. As a result, the filters significantly reduced failures, ensuring greater operational stability and lower costs. The theme is grounded in the need to enhance efficiency and operational continuity in the casting industry, minimizing unplanned downtime and maintenance costs. The primary objective is to create a fuzzy control model that enables real-time monitoring of critical variables, such as temperature, pressure, and electric current, to facilitate predictive fault detection. Methodologically, operational scenario simulations were conducted to evaluate the model’s performance under adverse conditions, including overload and overheating, with validation through experimental testing. Results indicate that the proposed fuzzy system accurately identifies anomalies and issues preventive alerts, extending motor lifespan and reducing downtime. It is concluded that the model can be integrated with supervisory systems like SCADA, enhancing predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
