    Synchronous generators undergo frequent start-stop cycles due to maintenance or external factors, causing thermal variations that affect stator insulation. This study, conducted at the Balbina hydroelectric plant in Amazonas, Brazil, examines insulation aging trends in stators through partial discharge testing. Results indicate that continuous operation increases the generators’ lifespan.

    This paper presents a fuzzy tool that enables the monitoring of students in learning environments that use Information Technology. Using expert knowledge, input variables were proposed to ensure a model faithful to reality, thereby providing outputs that enable the implementation of practices aimed at improving learning during each practical module of disciplines that use IT.

    This article presents a proposal for an electric measurement system for fuel tanks in thermoelectric plants, replacing the traditional manual method that shows inaccuracies. The proposed technology aims to enhance the logistics of fuel supply—critical for thermoelectric plant operation—through an automated system using capacitive probes, offering greater precision, reliability, and continuous monitoring of fuel levels.

    The systems modeling are being increasingly applied in the means of production for many different purposes, including the area of System Design, in order to set the number of people on the team, analyze the effort, software size and total project costs. This study aims to develop a model to support analysis based on Use Case Points (PCU). For this, we use various research methods including the exploratory research laboratory to create a model of support for analysis.

    System modeling is increasingly used in academia to estimate team size, effort, software size, and total project cost. This article proposes a model based on Use Case Points (UCP), supported by techniques such as LOC, COCOMO, and Function Points. The model aims to assist managers in negotiations with clients, improving cost and time estimation. The model proved effective in simulating changes in system requirements and automatically calculating updated estimates.
