The model is applied to a four-wire delta system, demonstrating its ability to represent structural asymmetries and identify resonances at different frequencies.Item Characterization of the Specific Absorption Rate of the Cell Phone in the Human Head, Using the LN-FDTD Method(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) MEDEIROS, Adelson Bezerra de; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral.; Eduardo de Magalhães BragaThis work investigates the absorption of electromagnetic energy in biological tissues of the human head from cell phones in the 900MHz band, and the development of a program to calculate the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the user's head. The Local Non-Orthogonal Finite-Difference Time Domain (LN-FDTD) method is implemented, using the Uniaxial Perfectly-Matched Layer (UPML), and the results are compared with existing literature. This article proposes a model based on Use Case Points (UCP), supported by techniques such as LOC, COCOMO, and Function Points. The model aims to assist managers in negotiations with clients, improving cost and time estimation. The model proved effective in simulating changes in system requirements and automatically calculating updated estimates.Item Otimização Multiobjetivo de Filtros Harmônicos Passivos para Instalações Industriais Usando Técnicas de NSGA-II(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; ABRIL, Ignacio Perez; AZEVEDO, Manoel Socorro Santos; MEDEIROS, Adelson Bezerra de; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique Reis; VALENZUELA, Walter Andres Vermehren; Prof. Dr. Waldinei Rosa Monteiro.This paper presents a mathematical method and a computational tool for the selection and sizing of passive harmonic filters in industrial systems using the NSGA-II genetic algorithm. The goal is to maximize the economic benefits of the project, minimize harmonic distortion in the PCC current and bus voltages, and comply with power quality standards (ANEEL and IEEE 519-92). The results demonstrate the method's effectiveness in determining filter parameters, selecting configurations, and addressing multiple operational scenarios.
