Data from the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA), the National Sanitation Information System (SNIS), the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), and the National Household Sample Survey (PNAD) from 2016 to 2020 were examined. The results highlight the need for increased investment in water infrastructure and sanitation projects to alleviate challenges faced by the Amazonian population. The participation of multiple sectors in integrated water management is crucial to achieving SDG 6 by 2030.
