Aplicação da Teoria dos Jogos no Gerenciamento do Contexto das Altas Temperaturas na Cidade de Manaus
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) SOUZA, Amós Ribeiro de; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; SANTOS, Eliton Smith dos; CAMPOS, Paola Souto; MORAES, Nadime Mustafa; SOUZA, Silvia Cristina Matos de; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
The city of Manaus faces increasing challenges related to high temperatures, intensified by climate change and unplanned urbanization. Efficient management of this context is essential to mitigate negative impacts on the population and the environment. This study employs Game Theory as a strategic tool to model interactions among government, businesses, NGOs, and the population. Through simulations and Nash equilibrium analysis, feasible cooperative strategies were identified to minimize climate impacts and guide more sustainable public policies, promoting a balance between economic development and environmental preservation.

Aplicação de Controle Fuzzy em Microgrids Solares como Auxílio na Mitigação de Interrupções em Comunidades Isoladas no Amazonas à Portaria Nº 140/2022
(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) SILVA NETO, Oswaldo Wanderley da; ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; SANTOS, Eliton Smith dos; BRITO JÚNIOR, Jorge de Almeida; SANCHES, Antonio Estanislau; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Isolated communities in the Amazon face significant challenges in accessing reliable energy due to logistical difficulties and lack of infrastructure. Photovoltaic microgrids emerge as a viable alternative but suffer from instability and frequent interruptions caused by environmental variability. This study investigates the implementation of fuzzy control in these systems to mitigate supply failures and improve operational efficiency, in compliance with INMETRO's Portaria No. 140/2022. The results show that fuzzy control is a promising solution to enhance the reliability and sustainability of energy in isolated communities.

The increasing accumulation of plastic waste, particularly PET, represents a significant environmental challenge due to its long degradation time and the negative impacts of improper disposal. This study explores the feasibility of partially replacing sand with ground PET in concrete, focusing on its effects on compressive strength and workability. Four concrete compositions were tested: one without PET and three with 10%, 30%, and 50% PET, adhering to ABCP standards. The results demonstrated that PET addition, in certain proportions, maintained the required strength while reducing environmental impacts, highlighting the sustainable potential of recycled PET in construction.

(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) PINTO, Leandro Soares; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral.; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Ergonomics has proven to be increasingly important for industrial processes worldwide. The evolution of machinery and equipment has caused several occupational health disorders at work. Therefore, it is extremely important to conduct a comprehensive reading of workstations and use ergonomic analysis tools. The objective of this article is to apply the technological resources of fuzzy logic to the results found in the Ergonomic Work Analysis (AET) in seven workstations in the automotive industry of the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The applied methodology is based on the use of the Suzanne Rodgers ergonomic tool and mathematical models characterized by Fuzzy Inference for decision-making on various disorders that occur with workers' health. The results found in the "Suzanne Rodgers" ergonomic tool applied to the movement of upper and lower limbs, together with the application of Fuzzy Logic, showed that the linguistic variables by colors and the legend that classifies ergonomic risks are useful for comparison and discussion of the importance of ergonomic processes for the benefit of the worker in the automotive industry.

Analyzing data processing methods and ensuring consistent results is hard work for scientists. The optimization of a process makes a difference regardless of the area being worked on. This research used a comparative method of dispersion analysis to evaluate the performance of two fuzzy modeling tools: the Fuzzylite library and the MatLab® Fuzzy Toolbox. The case study was conducted with the School Adventurers application, which uses the Fuzzylite library for fuzzy inferences. The results indicated that Fuzzylite showed superior performance in terms of dispersion of performance indicators.
