Item Pneu Inservível: De Resíduo a Matéria-Prima Secundária para Processos Industriais Conforme a Legislação Brasileira(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) PARÁ, Júlio Leite UHLMANN, Iracyanne Retto; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe political, environmental, economic, and social interests in solid waste management, especially end-of-life tires, have increased significantly. This article explores the use of such waste as secondary raw material in industrial processes under Brazilian legislation. The research is an exploratory review based on bibliographic and documentary sources, including scientific articles, relevant publications, and official documents on solid waste in Brazil. The results indicate that end-of-life tires can be reused in the industrialization of new products through processes such as shredding, reformation, granulation, rubber regeneration, co-processing, lamination, and pyrolysis. The National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS), with its reverse logistics approach, enables this reuse, contributing to reducing environmental impacts and public health issues caused by the improper disposal of such waste.Item Pneu Inservível: De Resíduo a Matéria-Prima Secundária para Processos Industriais Conforme a Legislação Brasileira(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) PARÁ, Júlio Leite UHLMANN, Iracyanne Retto; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe political, environmental, economic, and social interests in solid waste management, especially end-of-life tires, have increased significantly.
