Item The Impact of Pandemic in Supply Chain Management in an Electronic Industry(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) SANTOS, Hermes Silva ALENCAR, David Barbosa de SANCHES, Antônio Estanislau PINTO JÚNIOR, José Roberto Lira BARBOSA, Kleber Mantovanelli; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe logistics, social, and economic impacts caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic have unprecedentedly affected the supply chain of the electronics industry. Logistics played a crucial role in maintaining supply chain balance, despite facing challenges such as raw material shortages and high international freight costs. This case study analyzes the supply chain of an electronics industry in the Industrial Hub of Manaus, comparing the scenarios before and during the pandemic. Strategic tools such as SWOT analysis, Ishikawa diagram, and GUT matrix were used to map risks and propose mitigating actions. The results indicate that, despite the difficulties, the implementation of a crisis committee and efficient logistics management allowed business continuity and enhanced the maturity of the supply chain management process.Item The logistical challenges to implement the environmental management system in a natural gas company in the North Region(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) PIRES, Darlene Ribeiro LIMA, Alexandra Amaro de; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) in large companies aims to standardize operations and reduce environmental impacts. This study aims to develop a protocol for an EMS based on ISO 14001 standards in a natural gas company in the North Region of Brazil. The research utilized an exploratory and documentary approach with qualitative and quantitative data collected from a gas pipeline company in the Manaus region. The methodology included interviews and questionnaires with the company's environmental professionals. The results show that the logistics of the North Region represent the greatest challenge for the company, hindering the efficient implementation of the EMS. It is concluded that improving regional logistics is essential for the success of the environmental management system.Item Development of an Intelligent System for Tracking RFID Tags Applied to Industry 4.0(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) SERRÃO, Alacy da Conceição da Silva LEITE, Jandecy Cabral SILVA, Ítalo Rodrigo Soares RIBEIRO, Paulo Francisco da Silva NASCIMENTO FILHO, Alarico Gonçalves do MENDONÇA, Pedro Henrique Barros; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe market for traceability systems for software projects is rapidly expanding, driven by the growing demand for efficient monitoring and control solutions. This study aims to develop an RFID tag tracking system applied to Industry 4.0, addressing inventory and logistics process needs. The study covers software development with integration of Business Intelligence (BI), stock indicators, and business rules. Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban were applied, along with design patterns to ensure system robustness. Computational tests and simulations demonstrated that the developed system is efficient, ensuring transparency, security, and operational efficiency for the studied company in the Manaus Industrial Hub.Item Integração logística entre a Zona Franca de Manaus (ZFM) e Venezuela: avaliação do modal por intermédio da lógica Fuzzy para escoamento da produção do setor eletroeletrônico(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) MIRANDA, Allan Cerdeira; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique Reis; SANTOS, Eliton Smith dos; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study investigates the logistics integration between the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM) and Venezuela, focusing on the production flow in the electronics sector. The main objective was to develop a Fuzzy inference model to evaluate the most viable modal for this integration. The methodology was divided into three phases: identification of modal evaluation indicators, modeling of the Fuzzy inference system, and experimentation with the proposed model using MatlabR2013 software. The results indicated that the model was effective in analyzing the performance of the modals, allowing the identification of the most relevant variables for choosing the best logistics modal. The research highlights the importance of improving logistics infrastructure to enhance the competitiveness of ZFM in international trade.
