The development and use of web systems for mental health monitoring raise important ethical questions that must be considered by professionals and researchers involved in this area. Literature review is a useful methodology for investigating these questions, allowing for a comprehensive and up-to-date analysis of existing studies. The main ethical challenges related to the use of web systems for mental health monitoring include the collection and use of sensitive data, the lack of regulation and the possibility of discrimination and stigmatization of users. It is essential that the developers and professionals involved adopt practices and policies that promote the protection of users' rights and transparency in the use of data. Furthermore, it is important that research is carried out to assess the impact of these systems on the well-being of users and the quality of mental health services. The benefits and risks of online mental health monitoring must be carefully evaluated, and users' privacy and confidentiality must be protected. The ethics of online mental health monitoring require a deeper understanding of privacy and informed consent issues. Therefore, it is essential that professionals and researchers in this area continue to investigate and discuss ethical issues related to the use of web systems for mental health monitoring, in order to guarantee their effectiveness and safety, as well as respect for users' rights and privacy
