Abstract
The article discusses energy management as a tool for energy efficiency in the industrial sector, focusing on energy consumption in production processes. It proposes the implementation of measurement, control, and diagnostic devices to optimize electricity use, highlighting the measurement and verification (M&V) methodology to assess savings. Results show significant energy consumption reduction in a plastics industry, with estimated annual savings of R$ 39,941.29.
