Abstract

The objective of the dissertation is to reduce setup time through a method capable of eliminating the time spent in pressure casting processes at one of the most important motorcycle manufacturing companies. A bibliographic research and case study were used, presenting results such as the adjustment of setup time, innovation of the mold exchange method, reduction of occupational diseases, and reduction of operational costs while delivering quality in processes.
