METODOLOGIA PARA O GERENCIAMENTO INTEGRADO DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS NO INSTITUTO DE NATUREZA E CULTURA/IFAM NO MUNICÍPIO DE BENJAMIN CONSTANT-AM

Abstract

The implementation of environmental conservation action projects in educational institutions, integrated with Environmental Education, represents an important contribution to mitigating environmental impacts, fostering environmentally sustainable attitudes, and improving the quality of life in the teaching environment. This study analyzed the integrated management of solid waste at INC/UFAM, identifying the main discarded residues, proposing management strategies, and developing an integrated waste management methodology. The research revealed that about 70% of the waste can receive proper treatment, significantly reducing landfill disposal.
