Educação Ambiental: A Percepção Ambiental nas Campanhas Ambientais Realizadas por Discentes de uma Faculdade Particular de Manaus

Abstract

This research was conducted with students from a private college located in the southern region of the city of Manaus-Amazonas. In recent years, environmental education has gained much importance in the world scenario, especially in the educational field involving children, adolescents, young people, their families, and their communities. The study focused on evaluating the environmental perception of students before and after environmental campaigns, aiming to verify if these campaigns generate environmental awareness. The research used questionnaires applied in two stages, before and after the campaigns, and the results showed that environmental campaigns are effective in forming environmental awareness in students, contributing to the preservation of the environment.
