Proposal of Smart Grids in Communities of Amazonas State

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the potential and the importance of using renewable energy for communities in the State of Amazonas. It proposes the integration of multiple sources of power generation in hybrid systems to complement hydroelectric and thermoelectric generation, diversifying the electric park. A smart grid is proposed using the MaSE methodology for formal design and GHENeSys hierarchical Petri nets to study generation planning dynamics, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce system losses.
