Caracterização dos Impactos Ambientais Decorrentes da Implantação do Porto Fluvial no Município de Humaitá – Aterros e Contenções

Abstract

This study aimed to characterize the environmental impacts resulting from the implementation of the river port in the municipality of Humaitá, located on the banks of the Madeira River. The research focused on construction issues related to landfills and containment, highlighting the need for continuous monitoring and sustainable technological solutions to mitigate environmental impacts. The methodology included bibliographic and exploratory research, as well as a case study, with qualitative analysis of the collected data. The results indicated the need for improvements in environmental management, such as the implementation of monitoring programs and the adoption of sustainable practices to ensure the stability of the banks and the environmental quality of the region.
