Elaboração de um Modelo Matemático para o Estudo do Comportamento de Efluentes Originados da Indústria do Petróleo

Abstract

The objective of this work was to develop a mathematical model to predict the future behavior of treated effluents originating from the petroleum processing industry. The model was developed by dividing the effluent treatment system into subprocesses, for which submodels were developed and then integrated to form a general model. The development of the general model involved defining the input and output variables of the system, formulating general dynamic equations, acquiring process data, estimating submodels using fuzzy identification techniques, and integrating the submodels through the neurofuzzy method. The final model allowed simulations of effluent behavior under critical conditions, contributing to environmental conservation.
