Resumo
Este artigo analisa e avalia o layout, estudos de tempo e métodos aplicados em uma fábrica do segmento automotivo localizada no Polo Industrial de Manaus (PIM), que produz peças para as regiões Sudeste, Sul e Nordeste do Brasil. O objetivo é determinar a capacidade de produção detalhada para a montagem de rádios automotivos, focando em operações críticas. Foram utilizados métodos rigorosos, incluindo medições reais no chão de fábrica, para estabelecer tempos padrão de produção. Os resultados demonstraram potencial para aumentar a competitividade da organização através de práticas de lean manufacturing, otimização de layout e ações sustentáveis.
Abstract
This article analyzes and evaluates the layout, time studies, and methods applied in a factory within the automotive industry segment located at the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), which produces parts for the Southeast, South, and Northeast regions of Brazil. The objective is to determine the detailed production capacity for automotive radio assembly, focusing on critical operations. Rigorous methods, including real shop floor measurements, were used to establish standard production times. The results showed potential to enhance the organization's competitiveness through lean manufacturing practices, layout optimization, and sustainable actions.
