Simulação de uma Linha de Produção de Computadores: Um Estudo de Caso na Empresa Viatronic da Amazônia S.A

Abstract

Systems aimed at the production of consumer goods, as well as models related to this activity, can be introduced into the scope of production planning, scheduling, and control, and capacity planning. This work demonstrates a simulation application to analyze the design of a new computer assembly line. The objective was to develop a simulation of a computer production line at the company Viatronic using Excel software. The field research was conducted in the first semester of 2018, on days determined by the company, and the collected data were entered into the simulator. The simulation was able to predict the number of AX and BX notebooks that could be produced per month, in an eight-hour day, working five days a week.
