Home Automation with Web Control Based on Java Applets: Automação Residencial com Controle Via Web Baseado em Applets De Java

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present concepts of systems integration, involving computational, electronic, civil, and mechanical areas directed to domotics and its benefits, focused on remote control performed through the Internet. The proposed system includes lighting control functions, using switches that allow the control of light intensity, enabling the implementation of scenarios with scenic lighting. The solution uses Java applets for Web control, demonstrating how it is possible to manage automated residential systems in an accessible and relatively low-cost manner.
