Abstract

This study presents a case based on real production data, in which computer simulation was used to analyze the efficiency of the current physical layout. Using discrete event software, it was possible to visualize the assembly line and test strategies for layout restructuring. The method included on-site data collection, literature review, and computational modeling, resulting in the optimization of the production flow and the identification of improvements.
