Avaliação do Isolamento Acústico em um Templo Religioso na Cidade de Santarém – PA

Abstract

The soundproofing of theaters, houses of worship, auditoriums, and concert halls is of fundamental importance in the social context, ensuring that the operation of these sites is in accordance with the techniques applied in civil engineering and the city's posture code. This paper presents the results of sound pressure level measurements in a religious temple to enable a qualitative assessment of sound insulation in accordance with national technical standards and the City's Posture Code. The sound levels obtained at peripheral points were satisfactory, within the required technical standards, showing an efficiency of low-cost and comfortable coatings for the human ear.
