Manutenção Autônoma Aplicada na Melhoria da Qualidade da Produção: Um Estudo de Caso

Abstract

The global scenario of major economic powers reflects technological advancements, making companies more competitive and strategic. This paper aims to analyze the current maintenance situation at the studied company, identifying technical actions with immediate results and implementing Autonomous Maintenance (AM) to improve the performance of a white line production process at the Manaus Industrial Pole. Data were obtained from the company from December 2015 to July 2016, related to stops identified by a leak detector. The applied methods are qualitative and quantitative, with information collected through questionnaires, document analysis, and problem reports. The results achieved include the application of AM, increased productivity, reduced production line downtime, greater operator involvement, and improved product quality.
