Caracterização do Solo da Cidade de Santarém - PA com Base no SPT

Abstract

The construction industry relies heavily on soil studies, using tools for characterization. This study analyzes soil characterization in Santarém - PA based on reports from a local company. The research defined eight zones to facilitate geotechnical mapping based on the Standard Penetration Test (SPT), assessing soil type, profile, geotechnical characteristics, and penetration resistance (NSPT). The study presents a history of soil analysis, SPT equipment, analysis of reports, and interpretation of research parameters for soil characterization in the urban area of Santarém-PA.
