Metodologia para avaliar nível de maturidade da indústria 4.0 e sua correlação com atributos do metaverso industrial

Abstract

Since Facebook changed its name to Meta, the term "Industrial Metaverse" has been widely disseminated in industrial sectors. This study aims to establish a simple and accessible methodology for companies of different sizes to assess the maturity level of Industry 4.0 tools to prepare the foundations for future implementations in the industrial metaverse. A bibliographic review was conducted to identify the main enabling tools of Industry 4.0 and the attributes of the metaverse according to Weinberg and Gross (2023). Based on this information, a correlation table was developed to guide companies in preparing for the development of metaverse applications. The methodology was applied to a company in Manaus, allowing the assessment of the maturity level of Industry 4.0 tools and identifying critical points for supporting future metaverse initiatives. The results indicated that the company has the potential to implement immersive technologies but needs to improve the interoperability and scalability of internal systems.
