Abstract
The study examines the application of photovoltaic systems in isolated communities in the Amazon, emphasizing technical feasibility and socioeconomic and environmental benefits. Drawing on data from the "Light for All" project, it demonstrates that solar energy is a sustainable alternative for remote regions, lowering fossil fuel costs and fostering local development.
