| dc.description.abstract | This article deals with logistics and supply management, a strategic area for companies in today's highly competitive environment. The research examines a company from the Manaus Free Trade Zone facing a logistics bottleneck and rising supply costs. The study aims to determine the most suitable "make-to-order" process that balances freight and inventory costs while ensuring timely customer delivery. A logistics management model is proposed to optimize the supply flow in the automation sector, based on stock costs, raw material acquisition time, and transportation costs, providing competitive improvements. | |

O estudo investiga uma empresa da Zona Franca de Manaus que enfrenta um gargalo logístico e altos custos de fornecimento. A pesquisa busca responder qual modelo de "make-to-order" pode equilibrar custos de frete e estoque, garantindo a entrega no prazo. O estudo propõe um modelo de gestão logística que otimiza o fluxo de suprimentos no setor de automação da empresa, considerando o custo de estoque, tempo de aquisição de matéria-prima e custo de transporte, proporcionando melhorias competitivas. | |
