Abstract

With technological advancements, the engineering sector has been seeking solutions that offer positive results for the growth of their companies or organizations. Simulation methods for evaluating the mechanical behavior of products subjected to static and dynamic loads are extremely necessary to reduce manufacturing costs. The use of mechanical and virtual tests is of vital importance for product evaluation. This study aimed to apply fuzzy logic to a product called the bicycle fork steerer tube, analyzing both the degree of membership varying between 0 and 1 and the degree of truth also varying between 0 and 1, with the main focus on the behavior of the steerer tube and its validation.
