This article discusses the reverse logistics and environmental management process applied to the tire repair through qualitative methods that relate the level of convergence of the two actions. Considering the steps of implementation of the environmental management system evaluated to the procedures of reverse logistics in order to build an efficiency indicator, based on the regulatory measures that must be apply by any company. The case study used was a Company established at industrial Complex in Manaus (PIM). SWOT (S – strengths; W – weaknesses; O – opportunities; T – threats) method was used to indentify the most threat potential development. The outcomes of this step were analyzed according to the convergence/divergence between the phases and components of reverse logistics and the system components of ISO 14001 (PDCA cycle). As response, the company analyzed showed a low efficiency in the integration between the reverse logistics and the environmental management process. The proposal methodology allowed to define a profile adaptable to any field that you want associate the reverse logistics system and the environmental management through the association of the main links of articulation to the success of the two proposals.Item Alimentos Orgânicos: Produção e Perfil do Consumidor na Cidade de Manaus(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) LIMA, Paula de Fátima da Cruz; LIMA, Aline Maria Meiguins deThe production of organic food provides numerous benefits, such as the supply of healthy products, sustainable use of natural resources, and the elimination of genetically modified organisms. This study aimed to characterize the profile of organic food consumers in Manaus, identify the main parameters influencing consumption, and analyze the socio-environmental context of production and consumption. The field research was conducted at the Organic Producers Fair of the Association of Organic Producers of Amazonas (APOAM) in Manaus. The results indicate that consumers are mostly women, aged between 30 and 40, with higher education and a monthly income above R$ 3,000.00. Due to its character walking, their facilities are substandard, especially from the standpoint of sanitation of environmental pollution. This brings with it serious problems concerning food handling and garbage accumulated by commercial activity. The sanitary conditions of the environment and the food handler, the storage temperature, hygiene and maintenance of tools and equipment are critical and risk to fish quality, although these prerequisites are not met in many sales points at the fairs. The aim of this study was to evaluate the risk associated with environmental sanitary condition of the fish during its marketing, packaging and disposal of contamination in relation to the waterfront around the city of Manaus. The survey was conducted in the port area of Manaus, in a region with a total of 150 m in length. His character was based on descriptive and qualitative and quantitative analysis, the method used for environmental risk assessment was the Failure Analysis, Modes and Effects (Failure, Mode and Effect Analysis - FMEA). It was found that the peacock is the product of higher output (55.9%), followed by tambaqui (50%), the pacu (28.9%) and jaraqui (20.9%), the income generated by this dominating the trade is varied between R 500.00 t o R 500.00toR 2,000.00. The risk associated with the sanitary conditions of the fish varies from moderate to high, due to: the presence of vectors harmful to public health by the conditions of local infrastructure, by improper handling of fish and by insufficient hygiene of food; waste arising from the handling of fish for sale, water consumption without quality control, and the generation of wastewater from washing of fish. Control measures that can be applied involve the public and local traders, since improvements to sanitation investments in the areas of training and monitoring. It is hoped that there is effectiveness of medium and long term, and thus the scope of standards of environmental quality and social and local food security.Item Avaliação da Mudança de Matriz Energética da Usina Companhia Energética Manauara – UTE Manauara na Perspectiva de Melhoria da Qualidade do Ar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014) SILVA, Fernando Pégas da; LIMA, Aline Maria Meiguins deAbstract: Thermal power plants (UTE) are generating stations supplying electricity with coal, diesel oil, nuclear power and biomass. The Manauara Energy Company plant, located in the city of Manaus/AM, changed its energy matrix from fuel oil (OC) to natural gas (GN). Natural gas generates almost no particulate matter or sulfur dioxide, and carbon dioxide emissions are on average 30% lower compared to other fuels. The present study aims to characterize the changes in the indices of gaseous effluents when changing the energy matrix (from fuel oil to natural gas) at the UTE Manauara. The methodology used data derived from the monitoring of gaseous emissions and air quality. From these, it was observed that the analyzed parameters were within the levels required by CONAMA resolutions, the researched generating groups operate in accordance with the required environmental quality conditions, and the change in the energy matrix from fuel oil to natural gas was positive.Item Integração do sistema de gestão ambiental e a logística reversa em uma indústria de processo de reparação de pneus(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2014) SILVA, Ullisses Siza; LIMA, Aline Maria Meiguins de; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; MENDES, Ronaldo Lopes Rodrigues; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesReverse logistics is a conventional logistics area used as a strategic tool in the market and is essential for corporate environmental management, supported by ISO 14001 certification. The major cause of noise in sensitive areas is the lack of urban planning in cities. Obviously the traffic noise, airports, and the activities cluster in one place will affect all its surroundings, making the region inappropriate for certain purposes: residential, parks, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, etc. In many cases, public roads with lower sizing to incoming traffic border sensitive areas and affect the environmental quality. According to WHO (World Health Organization) the problem is recurrent in developed and developing countries, becoming worse in the last ones due to the rapid and unplanned growth of cities. How to act when the noise pollution is already present in the city and the uses of spaces have lost environmental quality? The European Union realizing the seriousness of the problem decided in the European Parliament that all member countries should make noise maps of cities with a population of over two hundred fifty thousand inhabitants. The preparation of noise maps allows analysis of the sources, trajectory and influence of the emissions and the definition of corrective and preventive actions. The elaboration of such maps is not usual in Brazilian cities. We present a noise map of a region of Manaus and we introduce a proposal to build such a tool to be used throughout the entire city. The results shown on the map represent an unknown reality and can guide corrective actions.Item O Potencial de Captação e Abastecimento de Água Pluvial na Comunidade Vila de Lindóia – Município de Itacoatiara/AM(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2015) SILVA, Marcos Maurício Costa da; MENDES, Ronaldo Lopes Rodrigues; NETO, João Augusto Pereira; LIMA, Aline Maria Meiguins de; Jandecy Cabral Leite"This article assesses the potential for rainwater harvesting for domestic use in the Vila de Lindóia community, Itacoatiara/AM.
