Item Logística Reversa de Pós-Consumo de Bateria de Celular(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2012) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; MAGALHÃES, Edilson MarquesThis study examines reverse logistics as a tool for sustainable development, focusing on the proper disposal of mobile phone batteries, which contain heavy metals harmful to the environment. The research analyzed manufacturers, mobile operators, and consumers in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), identifying challenges such as low consumer participation in the return process, despite the availability of return channels. The results emphasize the need for awareness campaigns and better-structured reverse channels to reduce improper disposal and promote recycling.Item Modelo de Certificação Ambiental em Processos e Produtos Eletrônicos(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2012) SILVA, Carlos Américo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; PALADINI, Edson Pacheco; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; Edinaldo José de Sousa CunhaThe article presents an environmental certification model (Green Partner) for electronic processes and products, aiming to eliminate or control hazardous substances such as heavy metals (cadmium, lead, chromium, and mercury). Based on Sony's SS-00259 standard, the study demonstrates the model's application in a company from the Manaus Industrial Hub, highlighting the integration of management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) and the competitive and sustainable benefits of certification.Item Otimização do processo de manufatura de modem 3G usando o Tecnomatix Plant Simulation como ferramenta de simulação(INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA, 2011) SILVA, Carlos Americo de Souza; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; Prof Dr. Walter Barra JuniorThis paper presents a manufacturing simulation model based on real production data, using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software to optimize resources and improve the performance of a 3G modem assembly line. The method included collecting real data, creating a virtual environment, and analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements. The results demonstrated the efficiency of simulation in reducing costs and increasing productivity, providing support for strategic decisions.Item UTILIZAÇÃO DE SOFTWARE COMERCIAL PARA A OTIMIZAÇÃO DE FLUXO DE PRODUÇÃO(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2016) VIEIRA, Kellen Bicho; QUARESMA, João Nazareno NonatoThis study presents a case based on real production data, in which computer simulation was used to analyze the efficiency of the current physical layout. Using discrete event software, it was possible to visualize the assembly line and test strategies for layout restructuring. The method included on-site data collection, literature review, and computational modeling, resulting in the optimization of the production flow and the identification of improvements. Abstract: This study presents a case based on real production data, in which computer simulation was used to analyze the efficiency of the current layout. A discrete event software allowed a broader visualization of the assembly line and testing of layout restructuring strategies. The method included on-site data collection, literature review, and computational modeling, leading to production flow optimization and identification of improvements.
